Irish Network Boston, the Consulate General of Ireland and the American Repertory Theater invite you to the Abbey Theater’s brilliant production of the Plough and the Stars on September 30.
The event begins with a lecture on the A.R.T. mainstage at 3:30 p.m. by Clair Wills, author of Dublin 1916: The Siege of the GPO.
Following the lecture, the Irish Network and Boston Irish consulate will host a reception in Harvard Square (location to be announced), prior to the evening performance of Seán O’Casey’s iconic play at 7:30 p.m.

Sunday 24th April 2016 marks the centenary of the 1916 Easter Rising.
Irish Network Boston and the Consulate General of Ireland invite you to view our special recording of the reading of the 1916 Proclamation by INB member and WGBH Radio host, Brian O’Donovan. It is part of our contribution, “…to remember the events of 1916 in the full context of our history and to honour the people whose courage and idealism inspired a nation”.

The 2016 St.Patricks Day Party is here!

We are delighted to announce our Annual St. Patrick’s Day party, which is fast coming upon us! This much anticipated members only event will be held on Friday March 18th, at Fenway Park!  As always, there will be Irish music, dancing and cheer, special guests, and more! We will also host an open bar and hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening. Members are welcome to purchase one additional ticket for a guest.

Irish Network Boston is delighted to announce our new website and member center. Our site has been completely redesigned and overhauled with the needs and interests of our members at the forefront of our efforts. The new site will serve as a comprehensive information portal and member resource center.

• New member information center providing new virtual networking system including member registration with optional information sharing including but not limited to profession, interests, option to connect directly with other IN members through the website and eventually with members of INs throughout the country;

• Active news section which will feature articles highlighting our network, current news in the Irish and Irish American communities, guest entries on member interest, and news from our sister city INs and IN USA;

• Active Intra-site event management- RSVP, register and pay for events in one convenient area;

The Charitable Irish Society is hosting a reception with the Consul General Susie Kitchens of the United Kingdom and Consul General Breandán Ó Caollaí of Ireland as they discuss the current commercial and political status in Northern Ireland and the potential for the growth in investment, trade and tourism on both sides of the Atlantic. Joining the consuls general will be Andrew O’Brien, Special Representative for Global Partnerships from the U.S. State Department.

The event will be held at The Union Club on Tuesday evening, June 2nd. A cocktail reception from 6:00 pm until 7:00 will precede the formal program. The event is co-sponsored by the British Society, The Scots Charitable Society and The Charitable Irish Society. You will hear the latest news news on the current status of the Good Friday Accord and socialize with friends in our companion organizations.

This is also a great opportunity to introduce prospective members to The Charitable Irish Society.
